Hi, I’m Summer! I’ve had a tough start in life, but I’m a strong and loving girl who’s ready for a fresh beginning. I was found as a stray with injuries to my legs and feet, but thanks to an amazing foster family, I healed both physically and emotionally. Through it all, I’ve shown just how affectionate I am—I love people, enjoy snuggles, and I did wonderfully with children in my foster home. Now that I’m at the rescue, I’m still learning and growing every day. I’m doing great with my leash training, working on keeping all four paws on the ground when I get excited, and I already know commands like sit and no. I’m smart, eager to please, and would thrive with continued training in a patient and loving home. I love running around the yard doing zoomies and spending time outside. With slow, proper introductions, I’ve made some doggy friends here and could do well with a family willing to continue helping me socialize. I’m ready to leave my past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will give me love, structure, and security. I was born in July 2021, and I’m hoping I might be the sunshine your home is missing.

Ideal Home

A patient and loving home with a family willing to continue my socialization. I did wonderfully with children in my foster home.

My leg and foot injuries have healed.

Training & Support

I'm working on leash training and keeping all four paws on the ground when excited. I know commands like "sit" and "no." I would thrive with continued training.
