Simba is a 71-pound golden bully-mix rescue with a big, blocky head, happy wiggles, and a gentle, easygoing personality. Estimated to be around 5 years old, this affectionate lover boy would be happiest enjoying a quiet life close to his people.

He is sweet, snuggly, treat-motivated, mindful of his size, and content to relax beside you. Simba is friendly with everyone, wonderful with other dogs, and enjoys joining in when invited to play. He could thrive with a relaxed canine companion or as your one-and-only dog. He prefers cozy afternoons at home but is great in the car and happy to join road trips and weekend adventures.

Ideal Home

Simba would love a calm, comfortable home where he can share lots of companionship and affection. He is friendly with people and does well with other dogs, though he is not seeking nonstop wrestling.

Ongoing Health

Simba's $900 adoption fee includes his listed veterinary care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, microchip, spay/neuter, health certificate, and transportation. A $87 transportation surcharge applies.

Training & Support

Simba knows “sit” and is house trained and crate trained. He has wonderful house manners, is eager to keep learning, and is great in the car.

Nationwide USDA-certified transportation is available with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA; Buffalo, NY; or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
