Joey is a super cute, approximately 2-year-old pup with golden tan fur and beautiful green eyes. He's a sweet, energetic, and playful boy who loves being with people, snuggling up, and going on walks. Joey enjoys playtime with his foster siblings, especially a larger foster sister, and would likely do well with another dog his size or larger. He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands like SIT, STAY, and DOWN. Joey is also crate-trained for workdays and nights and has shown no destructive tendencies indoors.
Ideal Home
Joey would do best in a home without small pets. He would enjoy another dog his size or larger to play with, but he would also be content as an only dog as he loves people and would appreciate having you all to himself!
Ongoing Health
Joey is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. He is still adoptable during his treatment.
Training & Support
Joey walks well on a leash, knows basic commands (SIT, STAY & DOWN), and is crate-trained. He also waits politely for his food until given the "ok" to eat.
