Masha is a truly majestic Alaskan Husky, about 5 years old and weighing around 55 lbs. Her captivating sky-blue eyes and noble presence make her unforgettable. Masha is a calm and affectionate dog who adores people, running to strangers for pets and attention without any signs of aggression. She's eager to please, a quick learner, and possesses a wonderfully balanced temperament – loyal, brave, social, and loving. She's also playful, fun, and has a charmingly curious nature, though she can be a bit "talkative"! Masha has been waiting five long years for her forever family, and she dreams of experiencing the joys of walks, free running, and exploring the world. She deserves a home where she can finally live the full, beautiful life she has always deserved.

Ideal Home

Masha would thrive in a very active home with both other dogs and children, preferably. She needs a family with an open mind about the needs and behaviors of rescued animals, someone who understands the importance of protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training is a must, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued dogs.

Training & Support

Masha can be a bit protective of her toys, and sometimes tries to assert herself as the "boss" with other dogs, though she's not aggressive. When bored and without toys, she might chew on household items. Like many Huskies, she enjoys howling and barking and can have a stubborn streak. She is not currently house-trained, and her new family should be prepared for this.

Transportation

Masha is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
