Slick

Meet Slick, a young adult Australian Cattle Dog mix with a stocky, athletic build, soulful eyes, and an irresistibly goofy grin. He adores people of all ages and is affectionate, loyal, laid-back, and eager for attention and cuddles.

Ideal Home

Slick gets along wonderfully with other dogs and may enjoy a canine companion. Because he is very interested in cats, a cat-free home is recommended. His family should be prepared to help him continue adjusting to indoor life.

Ongoing Health

Slick is neutered, heartworm-test negative, current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Slick lived exclusively outdoors before coming into rescue and is learning indoor routines in foster care. He is making good progress with house training when kept on a consistent schedule and crated when unsupervised. He is also working on crate training and becoming less vocal as he gains confidence.
