Meet Sprout, a bright-hearted 1-year-6-month-old medium mixed-breed boy with a soft white coat and a gentle, affectionate personality. After coming from a hoarding situation, he has blossomed in care and is ready for a safe, loving forever home.
Sprout loves being close to his people and happily settles at their feet or nearby. He bonds deeply and may feel sad when left alone, so he will do best with someone who is home often and can help him build confidence.
He is calm, affectionate, eager to please, polite with strangers, and enjoys gentle pets and grooming. Sprout can be dog selective and does best with calm female dogs. He greets dogs appropriately after introductions, but any resident dog must meet him before adoption.

Sprout would thrive with a loving family that can provide companionship, patience, continued guidance, and help with being alone. He is playful and may gently nibble when excited, so continued work on appropriate play is important.
