Meet Elroy, a 25-pound bundle of joy, mischief, curiosity, and affection. Rescued after roaming along a busy road, he is ready for a family of his own.
Elroy is dynamic, playful, and always eager to be with his people. He loves water and swimming, enjoys car rides, and has a wonderful balance of energetic and relaxed. He is also a low shedder, with possible Pug and Border Terrier ancestry based on appearance.
Ideal Home
- A securely fenced yard is required because Elroy may dig out when bored or left alone too long.
- He needs exercise, enrichment, room to play, and people who will keep his busy mind occupied.
- He is not a great fit for apartment living.
- Elroy has done well with dogs and children and could be an excellent playmate for another dog.
- He needs a cat-free home because he enjoys chasing cats.
Ongoing Health
Elroy is described as healthy and fully vetted. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has received heartworm and tick-borne disease testing and prevention.
Training & Support
Elroy is house trained. His adopters should continue providing exercise, enrichment, supervision, and secure outdoor space.

- The adoption fee is $650.
- There are no additional transport fees, veterinary fees, or surprise charges.
- The fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, a veterinary exam, microchipping, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing and prevention, a safety Martingale collar, transportation, and transition support.
