About Albert

Albert is an almost 2-year-old playful pup who was born into rescue. His mom was a long-haired Chihuahua/Springer Spaniel/terrier mix, and his dad is unknown. Albert weighs around 20 pounds and has likely reached his adult size, as his mom was only 22 pounds. He's an eager-to-please boy who loves to hang out with his adopted sister, Ciri. Albert was previously adopted to be a companion for a female dog, and he's done wonders for her happiness. Unfortunately, he needs a new home because he doesn't get along with one specific male family member in his current household. He's otherwise very social and friendly with everyone, including other male family members and strangers. Albert is not mean or aggressive; he just feels uneasy around this one particular person. He has already proven to be a wonderful playmate and a loyal companion. His current family is heartbroken to have to rehome him and only want the best for him.

Ideal Home

Albert would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play. He is not considered a good apartment dog.

Ongoing Health

Albert will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and rabies shots. He will also be dewormed twice and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Medical records will be provided at the time of adoption.

Training & Support

Albert is described as social and friendly. While he does not get along with one specific male family member, he is not mean or aggressive.
