Kira

Kira is a sweet, playful black-and-white Husky who loves to talk, spend time with her people, and cuddle on the couch. She enjoys car rides, pool time, treats, and playing with medium and large dogs. She could thrive as an only dog or with dog companions, and would be a wonderful fit for a couple, single person, or family.

Ideal Home

• Adopters must be at least 21 years old.
• No tie-outs or electric fences.
• Kira is friendly with male and female dogs. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Kira is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm-negative. She was found as a stray and weighs approximately 55–60 pounds.

Training & Support

• Crate trained and house trained.
• Knows commands and performs for treats.
• Loves car rides, playing in the pool, talking with her people, and relaxing beside them for cuddles.

• Applications start by contacting the provider through Wags.
• The process includes an application, a group text with the foster or rescuer, a virtual home visit and meet-and-greet if available, reference checks, board approval, an adoption contract, and final adoption and transport arrangements.
• The adoption contribution is $350 and is tax-deductible. Transport is arranged after adoption and covered by the adoption contribution.

Transport is arranged after adoption through K9 Delivery LLC. Adopters should review the transport route and nearest pickup location to ensure they can travel to the designated pickup point.
