Cherry Blossom is a sweet, playful, affectionate young dog with a beautiful golden coat, expressive ears, and a heart-melting smile. She enjoys toys, yard zoomies, belly rubs, and relaxing beside her people. She is approximately 1 year old and weighs around 30 pounds, with a best-guess Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix heritage.
Ideal Home
Cherry would thrive with a semi-active family and a securely fenced backyard. She enjoys learning from confident, friendly dogs and may do best with a canine companion who can help her build confidence. She has lived successfully with three cats and interacted gently with another cat during assessment; an overnight introduction with a dog-savvy cat can be arranged. She has potential to become a wonderful family dog with children.
Ongoing Health
Cherry's adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, microchipping with lifetime registration, and a travel health certificate.
Training & Support
Cherry knows how to sit, takes treats gently, and enjoys learning. She is making good progress with potty training but may still have occasional accidents. She is not yet comfortable with crate training and may vocalize when crated; patience, consistency, and positive experiences will help her progress. Trainer support and individualized behavior planning are available.

Transportation
USDA-certified transport with 24/7 care is available nationwide, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Transport is included in the adoption fee, with an $87 surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA; Buffalo, NY; or Brattleboro, VT.
