ROXANNE

Roxanne is an exceptionally sweet girl who can be a little shy at first, but she warms quickly and is really the total package! She loves car rides, is good on a leash, knows "sit," and is very crate-trained. She appears to be housebroken, but we caution that any dog living in a shelter might need a quick refresher course once they're back in a home. Roxanne is a little nervous at first with new dogs, but given slow introductions, she might do okay with another respectful, mellow resident canine, as well as older, relaxed kids. She also has a healthy respect for dog-savvy cats that don't run. Roxanne's sensitive nature means that loud noises and sudden movements will startle her, so a calmer home where she can gain confidence is probably best for this gentle soul.
