Ridge

Ridge is an 8-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who has emerged from a challenging past with a remarkably sunny and social disposition. He's playful, friendly, and genuinely happy, enjoying the company of people, other dogs, and even cats. While still a puppy, Ridge is a large and opinionated young dog who is growing into an equally large and opinionated adult. His adopter must understand the Anatolian Shepherd breed and be prepared to provide consistent structure and guidance. Ridge is optimistic about life, finding joy in dogs, people, cats, and viewing the Roomba as a creature to be viewed with extreme caution.

Ideal Home

We recommend Ridge for a home with children over the age of 10 due to his size and puppy exuberance. He requires a securely fenced yard and is not suited for apartment living or a casual leash-walking-only lifestyle. Adopters should be prepared for a very large adult dog, as Ridge is already tall and still growing.

Ongoing Health

Ridge is a young, healthy dog with no current health conditions noted.

Training & Support

Ridge is a social and friendly dog who is on his way to becoming a wonderful companion. He will benefit from clear guidance, boundaries, and ample space to play. Extra credit is given to households that can keep their vacuum cleaners out of sight and have already established peace with their robotic floor cleaners.
