Chico is an 82 lb, approximately 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of love to give. Despite a tough start in life, being found abandoned in a crate, Chico remains a wonderfully affectionate and laid-back companion. He absolutely adores simple pleasures like treats, chew toys, and especially pup cups! Chico is a fantastic co-pilot for car rides and would love to join you on your adventures. He’s a gentle giant who enjoys lounging by your side and cuddling whenever possible.

Ideal Home

Chico would be happiest in a home where he can relax and be close to his people. He's not a fan of loud noises such as passing cars, lawn equipment, vacuums, or power tools. Given his past experience, he’s not keen on crates, but he would be content with a cozy room to stretch out in. Chico would be wonderful with children, especially toddlers and older kids. He also gets along great with both small and large dogs. We are unsure how he would do with cats at this time.

Ongoing Health

Chico recently had his cherry eye fixed and is looking great!

Training & Support

Chico is house-trained and knows basic commands. He needs a little encouragement to feel comfortable around loud noises, but with patience and positive reinforcement, he’ll continue to blossom.
