Izzie is a charming 1-year-old (as of 12/15/25), 65-pound female Labrador/Hound mix. She’s long, low, and absolutely adorable, with the cutest Basset Hound feet! Izzie is currently in a foster home with other dogs and loves to play and be active. She’s a sweetheart who will happily roll over for a belly rub and is always the first to dive for a squeaky toy. Izzie is quite the social butterfly—she accompanies her foster dad everywhere she’s welcome, from Lowe’s to Lone Eagle—and she has plenty to say! Ideal Home

Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. Puppies 9 months of age or younger can be adopted into households with young children ages 4 and older. We do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.

Ongoing Health

Izzie is spayed, de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Izzie loves to play and be active and is always the first to dive for a squeaky toy. She is a social butterfly and has plenty to say!

Izzie is in a foster home. Animals are housed in many different locations. We meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
