Romy is a gentle, affectionate 1-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who weighs 8 pounds and is fully grown. She loves being close to her people, cuddling, relaxing, and joining them for leisurely walks and everyday adventures. She also enjoys squeaky toys, tiny tennis balls, stuffed animals, and occasional zoomies.
Romy is lower energy and easy to live with, happily entertaining herself while her humans work or relax. She is friendly with dogs and children, and has done well with large and small dogs in foster care. She could live as the only dog or with a laid-back canine companion. She has not been tested with cats in the home; any resident cat should be dog-friendly. Because of her tiny size, older children who understand how to handle small dogs are recommended, rather than babies or toddlers.
