Meet Avicii - the pup who brings his own beat!

Found alone on a remote road near Playa Las Tortugas, Avicii was rescued by a camper who simply could not walk away. A local farmer had been feeding him once a day for weeks, and this sweet boy survived because kind people stepped in. His full-body wiggle is the result of surviving distemper, but it does not slow him down or dim his joy one bit. He is sweet, social, and absolutely loves people. He's also doing great with other dogs and can be found running and playing in Area 2.

Ongoing Health

Avicii is a distemper survivor with a signature full-body wiggle. This condition does not slow him down or diminish his joyful spirit. His vetting is complete.

• Please inquire for more information on the adoption fee, which covers the flight crate and ranges from $208 - $285.
• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta.

Transporation

Avicii is located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Approved adopters will meet their new pup at the airport to welcome them home. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully completed many adoptions during the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border, and this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
