Emmy is a sweet and intelligent Labrador mix who will make a wonderful, steady companion. She's approximately 2.5 years old and weighs about 58 lbs. Emmy has a gentle personality and loves to be by your side, whether you're relaxing at home or out on an adventure. She does well with other dogs and children. While Emmy is sociable, she can be a little shy around new people at first. With some patient and gentle introductions, she quickly blossoms into a trusting and affectionate friend. Emmy enjoys car rides and travels calmly, making her a peaceful companion for any journey. She was rescued as a tiny puppy with her siblings after being found under a damaged house during freezing weather. Thankfully, Emmy survived and has grown into the beautiful dog she is today.
Ideal Home
Emmy would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. She needs a family with an open mind about the needs of rescued animals, understanding that they require protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training is preferred, along with a high level of tolerance and patience for rescued pups.
Ongoing Health
Emmy has completed her spay/neuter procedure, DHPPI and rabies vaccinations, bordetella vaccination, and deworming. She has also tested negative for heartworm and received a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Emmy is not house-trained. The rescue team understands that house-training every rescued pet is a challenge given their limited resources, but they are committed to their rehabilitation.
