Cally is a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. She's playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind—the type of dog who brings joy and laughter everywhere she goes. At 3.5 years old and around 40 pounds, this spayed female Pitbull mix has a lot of love to give and is ready to find her forever family. Cally's most charming traits include her biggest, silliest smiles when receiving affection and her world-class cuddling skills. She's also known for her spontaneous "zoomies" that will surely bring a smile to your face.
Ideal Home
Cally thrives with daily playtime and opportunities to run, at least twice a day. She would love a home with another playful dog, though it's not required. If she's the only dog, she'll need plenty of activity to keep her happy. She is excellent with children of all ages and is always gentle and friendly. Cally is also very welcoming to strangers. She does best sleeping alone in her crate and may get mischievous if left loose or crated with another dog.
Ongoing Health
Cally is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Cally is fully crate trained, house trained, and does great in a car kennel. She needs ongoing supervision indoors until she's more reliable, as she may chew on shoes or blankets. She needs to be separated from other dogs during meal times due to food-related resource guarding, though she's made great progress and does not guard food from humans. Feeding her in her crate works beautifully to keep everyone stress-free. She is very food motivated, making training a fun and rewarding experience. Continued leash training will help her shine even more, as she may pull initially out of excitement.
