Denver

Meet Denver, a handsome 3-year-old Great Dane with a gentle heart and an easygoing personality. Fostered in Crestview, Florida, he is a sweet couch potato who enjoys following his people around the house, relaxing nearby, and occasionally having the zoomies.

Ideal Home

Denver has been wonderful with the three children in his foster home. He is comfortable around other dogs, unfazed by barking dogs on walks, and shows little interest in squirrels or lizards. He enjoys car rides and would make a relaxed copilot for errands and adventures.

Ongoing Health

Denver is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and receiving routine heartworm and flea prevention. He needs to gain a few pounds and currently eats slowly; his foster family is making meals more enticing with Freshpet, salmon oil, and low-sodium chicken broth. He sometimes groans when lying down or getting up.

Training & Support

Denver is house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is easy to handle during baths. He is not particularly interested in toys, preferring to lounge on the couch, and he is not especially food motivated.

Transportation

In-person pickup from Denver’s foster parent in Crestview, Florida is required. The rescue does not transport.
