Chaparrito (“Chapa”) is a smart, silly, affectionate 1-year-old Staffie mix weighing about 50 pounds. He is playful and energetic outdoors, then settles happily into cuddles and quiet time with his people. Ideal Home
Chapa is dog-friendly and does well on leash, though he does best with females and needs slow, controlled introductions to unfamiliar males. He has lived around cats and may chase if they run, so a confident, dog-savvy cat is recommended. He does well with children, but older, dog-savvy children who understand boundaries would be the best fit because he can jump when excited.
His ideal home will give him time to decompress, listen to his communication cues, and provide patient support. Someone familiar with bully breeds would be a good match. Chapa should be fed separately from other pets as a precaution.
