Jesse Bear is a sweet, gentle Shepherd/Husky mix with a fluffy teddy-bear face, happy smile, and affectionate personality. He loves being included in everyday life, whether that means yard time, following his people around, relaxing at home, casual adventures, or cuddling on the couch.
Ideal Home
Jesse has been gentle with children ages 5–8 and especially enjoyed affection from an 8-year-old boy. His foster believes he would be happiest with children 8 years old and older. He is friendly with dogs of different sizes, matches their play energy, and enjoys both chase games and relaxed hangouts. Jesse respectfully met a house cat without chasing or reacting negatively; a cat sleepover can be arranged upon request.
A fenced backyard is preferred over an apartment because Jesse enjoys exploring, zooming, sunshine, and interesting smells. Most of all, he wants to be near his people and would make a loving everyday companion.
Ongoing Health
Jesse is approximately 1 year old, weighs 52 pounds, and is believed to be a Shepherd/Husky mix. As a rescue dog, his breed and age cannot be guaranteed. His adoption fee includes vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, neuter, microchipping, and a travel health certificate.
Training & Support
The rescue provides behavioral assessments and individualized support, including crate training, potty training, leash walking, and socialization. Adopters receive training and pet-care resources, including access to training discounts and other listed adopter perks.
