Max McLovin is a 3-year-old, 59 lb American Staffy mix with the sweetest energy you'll ever encounter. He approaches life with a happy-go-lucky attitude, his honey-brown eyes and signature pittie smile melting hearts wherever he goes. Max is a true people-lover, greeting everyone like a long-lost friend and believing physical touch is his love language. He thrives on companionship and will happily be by your side, whether you're on the couch or working in the yard. Max also enjoys the company of other dogs and has a classic, happy bully play style. He's great with dogs who can match his enthusiasm and help keep play balanced. If he's your only furry friend, he'll be perfectly content showering you with all his affection!

Ideal Home

Max would love a home with a backyard where he can stretch his legs, sunbathe, and keep you company. He truly wants to be included in your life and is happy with simple comforts: a comfy couch, plenty of love, snacks, belly rubs, and sunshine.

Max is believed to be approximately 3 years old. As with any rescue, breed and age cannot be guaranteed.

Training & Support

Max is crate trained, potty trained, eager to please, and very food motivated, making training a joy. He already knows "sit" and "shake" and would likely excel with puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and learning new tricks. He has a medium energy level and is adaptable to various lifestyles, from adventurous outings to cozy days at home.

Max is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
