Meet Eloise

Some dogs come into rescue and immediately leave a mark on your heart. Eloise is one of those dogs.

When we rescued Eloise from the euthanasia list, she was in heartbreaking condition. Severely anemic, emaciated, dehydrated, and covered in wounds, it was clear she had endured a lifetime of neglect. Her nails had curled over from being left untrimmed, her ribs were visible beneath her fragile frame, and her gums were nearly white from how sick she was. There were moments when we truly feared she might not make it

But Eloise had other plans.

Despite everything she has been through, Eloise remains one of the sweetest, most trusting dogs you could ever hope to meet. She greets every person with kindness, affection, and a gentle spirit that leaves everyone in awe. She refuses to let her past define her, choosing instead to embrace each day with hope and gratitude.

This sweet girl is happiest curled up beside her people, soaking up all the love she missed for so many years. She adores snuggling under blankets, receiving gentle pets, and stretching out in the sunshine for a good sunbathing session. Every day she grows a little stronger, a little healthier, and a little more confident as she continues her recovery.

She's also already showing us just how dog friendly she is. Eloise absolutely adores her foster brother, who has taken her under his wing and is helping her learn that the world isn't such a scary place.

Eloise is our little butterfly, slowly growing her wings after spending far too long just trying to survive. Watching her transform has been nothing short of incredible, and we know her best days are still ahead of her

We once feared she wouldn't make it. But here she is, proving every day that resilience, hope, and love can overcome even the darkest beginnings.
