Baba is a 10-year-old, 18-pound Pug who has perfected the art of relaxing—with cozy naps, mellow dog friends, and thorough snack inspections. Once she had time to decompress, this formerly frightened shelter dog revealed herself to be gentle, calm, sweet, and occasionally playful when treats appear.

Ideal Home

Baba would love a peaceful home with mellow canine companions who enjoy lounging. If children are present, they should be respectful and over 5 years old. She needs a family willing to let her settle in at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Baba is a senior dog doing quite well. An adopter with senior-dog experience—or a willingness to learn about her changing needs—would be ideal.

Training & Support

Baba was overwhelmed and occasionally snappy when frightened at her previous shelter, but became very sweet after decompressing in a calmer environment. She enjoys relaxing beside other dogs and becomes spry and playful when treats are involved.
