Meet Larson!
Larson is a large, goofy boy looking for a home that can accommodate his impressive size and even more impressive heart! He came to us as an emergency surrender when someone brought him to the vet hoping to euthanize him due to pain in his hind leg. Larson had bitten someone due to this pain, and we knew we had to step in and offer him a second chance. Thankfully, his painful overgrown dewclaws have been surgically removed, and we're optimistic he'll be much more comfortable and ready to find his forever family. Animals often communicate their discomfort before acting out, and we believe Larson is ready to show his new family how much love he has to give once he's feeling his best.
Ideal Home
Larson would love a home where he can truly stretch out and relax. He's a big boy with a big personality, and we're looking for a patient and understanding family who can help him continue to feel safe and confident.
Ongoing Health
Larson has had his painful overgrown dewclaws surgically removed. We are hopeful this procedure will resolve his pain and allow him to live a long, happy, and pain-free life.
Training & Support
Larson's bite was a result of pain, and we are committed to helping him build trust and learn to communicate his needs effectively. We believe he has excellent communication skills and is ready to learn and grow with his new family.
