Meet Whiskey! This adorable guy, part of a 5 pup "W" litter of brown and white hound mix puppies, is ready to find his forever home! At just 18 weeks old and around 17 pounds, Whiskey is at a perfect age to bond with a new family and continue growing into a loyal, loving companion. He was found as a stray but has quickly shown how resilient and affectionate he is. Whiskey is already crate trained, making the transition into a new home easier. He is currently working on leash skills and house training, and with a bit of consistency and patience, he’ll continue to make great progress. Whiskey is being socialized with both other dogs and people, making him friendly, curious, and eager to connect. His hound mix heritage means he’s likely to be smart, active, and enjoy exploring—perfect for families or individuals who love spending time outdoors. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and adaptable companion, and have the time and patience to train and play with a puppy, Whiskey could be the perfect addition to your family.

Ideal Home

Whiskey does best in a home with children ages 5 and older.

Ongoing Health

Whiskey is up to date on his shots, dewormed, and will be spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Whiskey is crate trained and is currently working on leash skills and house training. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.

Whiskey is currently in a foster home in the South and can be transported to New England. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.
