Momma aka Kona

Meet Momma, also known as Kona, a gentle and loving 5-year-old Great Dane in foster care. She was rescued just hours before euthanasia and is now receiving the care, attention, and second chance she deserves.

Momma is affectionate, enjoys staying close to her humans, walks easily on a leash, and has low exercise needs. She is looking for a calm home where she can decompress and continue becoming an amazing companion.

Ideal Home

Momma’s adoptions are limited to the greater Houston, TX area. She would do best in a calm home with modest exercise expectations.

Ongoing Health

Momma is heartworm negative and current on vaccines. As part of the adoption process, she will receive the organization’s stated veterinary services, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm testing and treatment if applicable, fecal testing, deworming, microchipping, and monthly heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Momma is easy to walk on a leash and loves being near her people. She will benefit from time to decompress as she adjusts to her new home.
