Meet Sashia Sorbet, a sweet and gentle 4-month-old Basset Hound mix with wonderfully soft, floppy ears. She enjoys puppy playtime, chew toys, treats, exploring, and plenty of naps. Sashia is gentle with people, takes treats nicely, and is ready for a family to help her continue learning and growing.
Ideal Home
Sashia may enjoy living with friendly dogs and could be a wonderful companion for children. She has met cats and may be able to live happily with feline family members with appropriate introductions and supervision.
Ongoing Health
Her adoption fee includes DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, rabies vaccination, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a travel health certificate.
Training & Support
Sashia is still learning puppy routines, manners, and which household items are not chew toys. The rescue provides trainer assessments, individualized behavior support, and preparation that may include crate training, potty training, leash walking, group training, and socialization.

Transportation
Nationwide transportation is available through the rescue’s USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in several states and Canada. Transport is included in the adoption fee, with an $87 transportation surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, Washington; Buffalo, New York; or Brattleboro, Vermont.
