Lucy

Lucy and Charlie were found on railroad tracks in South LA, where Charlie lay almost lifeless. Lucy, a sweet and shy girl, never left Charlie’s side. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan rescued them and contacted AALOC for help. Charlie was diagnosed with parvo and pneumonia and sadly, despite best efforts, passed away. Lucy also battled parvo and, after receiving cutting-edge treatment, has made a full recovery. She is now ready to find her forever home and humans who will shower her with love. Lucy is estimated to be around 25 pounds and is good with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Lucy is a shy girl who needs a patient and loving home to help her blossom. She is good with other dogs. For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, though exceptions can be made depending on the circumstances.

Ongoing Health

Lucy has fully recovered from parvo.

Training & Support

Lucy is still a young dog and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and socialization.
