Valentino Heartthrob Certified Lover Dude

Valentino is a joyful, affectionate American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer mix who brings goofy energy and plenty of love wherever he goes. At approximately 2 years old and 61 pounds, he enjoys carrying toys, cuddling, playing, and making his people smile. His breed and age are estimated because he is a rescue.

Valentino adores people and may take a brief moment to warm up before showing his affectionate personality. He has played successfully with other dogs and enjoys energetic wrestling, chase games, toys, and vocal play. He can be happy as the only dog, though a confident, playful female who enjoys roughhousing could be a good match. He is not suitable for cats, and he has been reported good with children under 8.

Ideal Home

A home with a backyard would be wonderful for Valentino, giving him room to zoom, play, carry toys, and enjoy water. He would enjoy hikes, adventures, enrichment, and being included in family life. After exercise, he is happy to cuddle on the couch.

Ongoing Health

Valentino’s adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, a health certificate for travel, and a microchip with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Valentino is crate trained and potty trained, knows commands such as sit, and is eager to learn. He enjoys toys, treats, agility-style activities, and entertaining himself. He walks fairly well on leash but may pull when excited. He will benefit from continued structure, consistency, positive training, and outlets for his energy.
