A little about them

Sunnie D is a joyful, playful young dog with endless sunshine and goofy confidence. At about a year old and 36 pounds, she loves meeting new people, playing with dogs, and joining in family adventures. She is affectionate, eager to learn, and ready to become a well-mannered best friend.

Ideal Home

Sunnie thrives with canine companionship and needs a dog friend. She is friendly and playful with dogs, loves children, and enjoyed meeting children ages 4 and 7. She can become mouthy when excited, so her family should be ready to provide structure, redirection, and patient guidance.

She showed playful curiosity around a cat. A cat household would need to provide clear boundaries and consistent supervision while she learns calm, respectful behavior.

Ongoing Health

Sunnie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and receives flea prevention and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. Her adoption fee includes a health certificate for travel, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, DAPP with booster, Bordetella, rabies vaccination, and multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments.

Training & Support

Sunnie is teachable and responds well to correction and direction. She will benefit from structured play, toy redirection, basic training games, crate training, potty training, and leash-walking practice. Adoption perks include training resources, a private online GoodPup session, discounted in-person training, and access to adopter support.
