Meet Flash, a sweet, affectionate Pittie mix who comes running to anything that resembles her name. She is incredibly dog-friendly and currently lives with eight other dogs, happily leading rough-and-tumble play, high-speed chases, and wrestling matches before curling up in a pile of blankets.
Flash came from a home with 10 dogs after her owner passed away. She spent six months in a county shelter and was the last of the 10 to leave. She was later lost from her foster home twice, spending days on the run, but was eventually caught by the volunteer who is now her foster mom. Despite her past, Flash is happy, confident, and affectionate.
Ideal Home
Flash prefers female humans and would do best with a very playful canine companion who enjoys rough play. She is nervous around strangers in her home but is not aggressive, so a quieter home without many visitors would suit her well. She needs a 6-foot fenced yard and a responsible adopter committed to keeping her safe and secure.
Ongoing Health
Flash is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
Training & Support
Flash is housetrained and crate trained, smart, eager to learn, and has done well at doggy daycare. She listens beautifully to her foster mom, enjoys staying close, walks nicely on leash, and is a great car rider. Continued training may help her build confidence around visitors.
