Meet Ace!
Ace's story started like so many others in Houston. He was found wandering the streets alone, another beautiful dog trying to survive. Thankfully, a kind family couldn't bear to leave him behind and brought him to safety. Now Ace is thriving in a loving foster home while he waits for the one thing he's still missing, his forever family.
Ace is everything you could want in a companion. He's incredibly sweet, loves everyone he meets, and has never met a stranger. He's great with other dogs and enjoys having friends to play with, but he's just as happy soaking up attention from his people. This handsome husky is the total package, and in the morning will even sing you the beautiful song of his (husky) people. He's potty trained, kennel trained, and walks beautifully on a leash without pulling. Around the house, you'll often find him proudly carrying one of his favorite toys from room to room or rolling over belly-up, hoping for some pets. He also happens to be a big fan of treats, which makes continuing his training a breeze. Ace is estimated to be 1-2 years old and weighs a healthy 75lbs.
Ideal Home
Ace's ideal home is one where he'll be included in the fun. He'd love a family that has time for cuddles, adventures, and making memories together. The good news is that he's such an easygoing, well-mannered boy that he'll fit into a variety of homes; we're just looking for the one that's the perfect match for him.
Ongoing Health
Ace is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease and will be available to transport to his forever home mid-August once completed.
