Meet Sandy, a one-year-old Lab/Pit Bull mix with a beautiful silvery-gray coat, a goofy smile, and a deeply loyal heart. This playful, toy-loving girl enjoys fetch, zoomies, treats, car rides, and being part of family life. She is a sweet homebody who bonds deeply and may be a wonderful match for a patient family.

Ideal Home

Sandy is thriving with five children, including a baby, and adores kids. She enjoys other dogs, especially smaller ones, reads social cues well, and has lived successfully around chickens. She would do best with a dog-savvy adopter who can respect her boundaries and help her build confidence. A home with a yard would suit her love of fetch and exploration, though children are not required.

Ongoing Health

Her adoption includes comprehensive veterinary care, DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, spay/neuter, microchipping with free lifetime registration, and a travel health certificate.

Training & Support

Sandy is quiet and comfortable in her crate, does not try to escape, and is house trained. She is food motivated and eager to learn. Her rescue provides behavioral assessments, individualized behavior support, and access to training resources.

USDA-certified transport is available nationwide with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA; Buffalo, NY; or Brattleboro, VT.
