Spork

Spork is a sweet, senior Chihuahua who found himself at the shelter as a stray. We believe he must have had a loving home at some point, as it would be incredibly difficult for a small dog to survive on the streets for 12 years. Sadly, no one came to claim him. Thankfully, one of our dedicated volunteers offered to foster him, knowing how overwhelming the shelter environment can be. Through his foster care, we've discovered Spork absolutely adores cuddling and snuggling up close to his person. He's quite vocal about his need for affection, and if you stop petting him, he'll gently paw at your hand to remind you to keep the pets coming! Spork is a mellow fellow who enjoys spending his days hanging out with his favorite human, watching TV, and soaking up all the adoration.

Ideal Home

Spork is looking for a home where he can be the center of attention and receive plenty of cuddles. He's a mellow guy who enjoys quiet companionship.

Spork is a senior dog and is blind.

Training & Support

Spork is not house-trained. He'll need consistent reinforcement and patience to learn. He's also very demanding about pets and will let you know when he wants more!
