Pretzel is a big, lovable bully mix with a brindle coat, an adorable head tilt, wonderfully independent ears, and a happy, wiggly personality. Estimated to be around 1–2 years old and weighing about 72 pounds, he is still very much a puppy at heart—eager, smart, responsive, affectionate, and eager to learn.
Ideal Home
Pretzel is deeply people-oriented and looks to his person for guidance. He checks in with his handler, leans in for affection, and is highly food motivated. He can coexist with other dogs but is still learning boundaries and may be pushy, so he would do best with a medium-energy dog who can tolerate his learning curve and model appropriate play. He has shown promising signs with cats, including calmly disengaging after approaching with curiosity; a cat sleepover can be arranged for further evaluation.

Pretzel's adoption includes routine veterinary care, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, a health certificate for travel, and treatment if a heartworm test requires it. His breed type is an appearance-based estimate and is not guaranteed without DNA testing.
Training & Support
Pretzel knows how to sit and learns quickly with treats. He is gentle and playful but may jump up or become mouthy when excited, so he will benefit from structure, redirection, and consistency. He pulls on leash, especially when meeting dogs, but responds to guidance and can settle into calmer walking. Continued work on manners, leash skills, and appropriate play will help him thrive.
