Jerry

Jerry is a sweet 15-pound boy, born on April 16, 2018, who had a rough start as an outside breeder dog. He and his brother, Tom, were surrendered when their owner passed away. After much patience and dedicated training, Jerry has blossomed into a wonderful indoor companion! He is a happy, well-tempered boy who loves nothing more than snuggles on the sofa, cozy blankets, and car rides. Jerry enjoys sunbathing in the morning, napping in the afternoon, and is always ready for an adventure. He is crate trained and does well in the house when kept on a routine. He gets along with other fosters and is pretty quiet and low-maintenance. Jerry can be adopted alone or with his brother, Tom.

Ideal Home

A family that will spoil him with love and attention! He enjoys indoor living, including sofa snuggles and car rides.

Ongoing Health

Jerry is vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration. He tested heartworm negative in December 2025 and is on monthly heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Jerry is working on leash training and building his confidence. He is crate trained and has learned to be good in the house when kept on a schedule.

Transportation

Jerry is currently located with our rescue organization. Out-of-area adopters would need to drive or fly in to meet and adopt Jerry.
