Leia is a sweet, easygoing Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix who loves people, dogs, car rides, squeaky balls, fetch, walks, and plenty of snuggles. After raising her puppies, she is ready for a loving family of her own.
Ideal Home
Leia is friendly with dogs and children, including children ages 5, 7, and 9. She would enjoy a dog companion, especially if her humans are away for substantial periods, though this is not a dealbreaker. She is relaxed indoors and enjoys daily walks, backyard or dog-park exploration, and playtime.
Ongoing Health
Leia is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and weighs approximately 75 pounds. She was found as a stray after raising a litter of puppies and was previously severely neglected and emaciated.
Training & Support
Leia is fully house-trained and has never had an accident indoors. She has not been crate trained, but she can safely free-roam without damaging household items. She may pull during the first few minutes of a walk and become excited when seeing other dogs, but she settles and walks calmly for most of the outing. Leia has no resource-guarding behavior and shares food, toys, bones, and treats well with other dogs.
