Meet Twizzler, a calm, sweet, and gentle smaller dog with a long body and adorable short legs. She was shy around new people at first but is gaining confidence every day. Twizzler enjoys walks, sunbathing beside her people, and bringing her favorite stuffed animals outside. She is looking for a loving home where patience and affection can help her continue to thrive.

Ideal Home

Twizzler would do well with a loving family willing to give her time to warm up and build confidence. She is friendly with dogs and enjoys companionship, walks, toys, and relaxing by her person’s side.

Ongoing Health

Twizzler arrived with a dislocated elbow that could not be repaired after an extended period of injury. Veterinary specialists determined that amputation was in her best interest, and she is adjusting to a pain-free life as a tripod.

Training & Support

Twizzler is house-trained. She is calm, quiet, gentle, playful, curious, and independent, and she eagerly wags her tail when approached at her kennel.
